Portable Handheld Fan

Amazing little fan! It can go really strong as the video shows.

So far I am very happy with this fan. I ordered this fan to use this summer when my daughter and I do some traveling. We are going to the national scouting jamboree. We will also be going to some cities beforehand. NYC, Boston and Philadelphia. All while wearing scouting uniforms- which I don't find them to be lightweight or that comfortable. I'm used to a dry heat. I know its going to be humid and hot. I wanted to be prepared with some kind of fan. I looked at neck fans also, but then I had the opportunity to order this fan and I jumped on it.The fan itself has a lot of speeds, so it can be very low or very high. It can also bend. My plan is to wear it around my neck and have it bent so it aims up at my face. I had no issue with using the buttons to set it or turn on the ice cooling technology. It did take me a few tries to get the lanyard attached because the slots are tiny. I just had to kind of hold the string part really close together to keep it more sturdy and keep shoving. I took me a few tries.It does have "ice cooling technology". Well I couldn't tell a difference if that actually helps the air feel cooler. But it's not really hot enough for me to test that out yet. Basically the metal circle in the middle gets really cold and you can place it at your pulse points to help cool you off. I think it's also supposed to help the air feel a little bit cooler? Not really sure.It is rechargeable too. Which is nice cause we won't have to travel with a ton of batteries, but you would need the ability to recharge. So I guess it depends on where you plan to take this while using it. For part of our travels I will be in hotels and the other part in a large summer camp type environment. We are prepared with multiple battery packs and I was told we will have the ability to charge at our campsite. So rechargeable works for me in this situation. We are also flying, so less weight for me to carry if I don't have to carry batteries. The battery packs are heavy enough and I HAVE to bring those.Overall I'm happy with this fan and can't wait to use it this summer.

This fan really gives you the power of cold in a handheld unit. You can have that cool in your hand, on a table or around your neck. This is the most powerful handheld fan I've ever felt. Using the fan couldn't be easier, as you have a single roller controller that handles all the functions. Press and hold to turn on and off. Rotate the wheel to increase or decrease the fan speed. If you turn the wheel slowly, it increases or decreases in units of one. If you rapidly turn the wheel it changes the speed more quickly than you think. I think that's pretty cool, no pun intended. Tap the wheel once and it turns on the cooling disc. You can definitely feel the air getting cooler. Tap the wheel again and the disc turns off allowing just the fan to operate. The well lit, easy to see digital display shows you the fan power level along with battery percentage, a green snowflake for the chiller disc, and icons for the fan and another for the chiller disc. That's a pretty comprehensive display. The fan charges quickly and is long lasting as advertised. The neck lanyard is silky soft and doesn't irritate the neck. I love that the fan folds 150 degrees so you can direct the wind flow and set the fan down. I've paid more for less of a fan, so I think the price is a good value. This fan is fan-tastic, well built and solid. Highly Recommended

must buy for hot summer

This fan has some strong features, but also a few frustrations that kept it from being a higher rating.On the plus side, it offers adjustable fan speeds and a noticeable cooling feature that does provide some relief on hot days. The adjustable angle is convenient, and it charges easily with the included USB-C cable. It also feels very sturdy and well-built, with a solid weight that suggests decent quality.That said, there are a few design issues. Even on lower settings, the fan is fairly noisy, which may be a drawback if you’re looking for something quieter. The biggest frustration is the control wheel—powering the fan on and off requires a long press that can be difficult to get right, and I often had to try multiple times. A short press activates the cooling feature, which adds to the confusion since everything is controlled from the same wheel.Another downside is the lanyard setup. It doesn’t come attached, and the holes on the sides are extremely small, making it difficult to install. I had to use a small tool just to get it through—larger openings would make this much more user-friendly.Overall, while the fan performs well and feels durable, the usability issues and noise level make it hard to justify the price. I’m also unsure how the wheel control will hold up over time—only time will tell. Overall the price is great for all the features you do get and I will use this on my desk.
